The main 'work horses' of ID11 are the diffraction and tomography detectors which are all based on the FReLoN detector. Farfield diffraction data is collected with the 'taper' version of the camera, of which ID11 has two, a FReLoN 2K (atmel chip) which is usually installed in EH1 and a FReLoN 4m (Kodak chip) usually installed in EH3.
The tomography detectors are all permanently installed in EH3 and again, there is a FReLoN 4m and FReLoN 2K available:
This detector has the objective lense perependicular to, and so outside of the direct beam. This means it can be used with the full energy range of the beamline. It is usually used with the atmel camera.

This is usually mounted with the Kodak chip FReLoN camera. The objective lense is located in the path of the direct beam, so the energy range used with this camera is limited to 40 keV.
