Two different social events will be organized in parallel to the workshop. They are open to accompanying persons.

1)  Event at the Grenoble Museum (Musée de Grenoble)

The event planned at the Musée de Grenoble will take place on Thursday 23 January, starting at 18h30.

  • From 18h30 to 19h30, a general public conference will be proposed in the auditorium of the Musée de Grenoble and is open to the workshop participants. Two talks will be given IN FRENCH:
    • "à la recherche des savons dans les œuvres d'art" (M. Cotte)
    • "une momie égyptienne révélée dans une jarre scellée du musée de Grenoble" (C. Berruyer)
  • During and after the general public conference at the Musée de Grenoble (from 18h30 to 20h00), private access will be offered to some of the most beautiful rooms of Musée de Grenoble.
  • The conference dinner will be served at 20h00 in the beautiful patio, in the heart of the museum.

 

2)  Street Art Guided Visit

This street art visit is planned in the afternoon of Friday 24 January, starting at 16h00 until 18h00.

The walls of Grenoble are covered with paintings, from small grafitti tagged by the "vandal scene" to gigantic works created by renowned artists; the former "toying" sometimes the latter. Weather permitting, guided walking tours will be organized to discover some of the major works in Grenoble city centre.
